This acceptable use policy tells you the rules for using PRISM AP Police software and services (collectively, our platform). This policy applies to all police personnel using the platform, whether directly or through departmental access.

By using PRISM AP Police, you confirm that you:
Are an authorized Andhra Pradesh Police personnel

Will use the system only for official law enforcement purposes
You must be an active serving police officer to use this platform.

CRITICAL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Never share your login credentials with anyone

Immediately report suspected account compromise
Log out from shared or public devices
Regularly review your device list and remove unused devices
We have the right to deactivate your account immediately if you fail to comply with any security requirements or if your account is compromised.
Acceptable Uses
You may use PRISM AP Police for:

Prohibited Uses
🚫 STRICTLY PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are absolutely forbidden and will result in immediate account termination and possible criminal prosecution:
You may NOT use PRISM AP Police for:
Personal communications unrelated to official duties
Sharing classified or sensitive information beyond authorized recipients
Any commercial or business purposes
Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any person
Discrimination based on any protected characteristics
Unauthorized disclosure of investigation details
Sharing false or misleading information
Political activities or partisan communications
Any illegal activities or violations of law
Circumventing security measures or access controls
Technical Prohibitions:
Attempting to hack, compromise, or reverse-engineer the system
Installing unauthorized software or modifications
Attempting to access data or systems beyond your authorization level
Sharing system vulnerabilities publicly (report to support@prism-appolice.in)
Using the system to transmit malware or harmful code
Excessive use that degrades system performance for others
Content Standards
All communications must:
Be professional and appropriate for law enforcement
Comply with AP Police codes of conduct
Be accurate and truthful
Respect the confidentiality of investigations
Follow proper classification and handling procedures
Maintain the dignity of the police service
Communications must NOT:
Contain inappropriate, offensive, or unprofessional language
Violate anyone's privacy or dignity
Compromise ongoing investigations or operations
Reveal sensitive tactical or intelligence information
Include personal opinions on controversial topics
Contain discriminatory or biased content
Information Classification and Handling
🔒 CLASSIFICATION LEVELS
RESTRICTED: Internal police communications
CONFIDENTIAL: Investigation details, operational plans
SECRET: Intelligence information, sensitive operations
TOP SECRET: Highest level security matters
Always mark and handle information according to its classification level.
Emergency Use Guidelines
During emergency situations:
Priority is given to operational communications
Use emergency channels and protocols
Follow chain of command procedures
Document all emergency communications as required
Coordinate with control rooms and supervisors
Monitoring and Compliance
